Steamboat Springs and the surrounding Yampa Valley are made up of several different neighborhoods and areas, each with their own unique characteristics. Within the Steamboat Springs city limits are the Mountain, Downtown, Fish Creek, Strawberry Park, and West Steamboat neighborhoods, all of which are within about a 7-mile radius. Farther out, in the White River Valley between Rifle and Craig, is the town of Meeker, a recreation and sportsman’s paradise.
